Trash from the street: Glenn makes Tina a mix CD
Last summer I met my friend Joseph on the street outside a dinner party. He pulled a CD from the pocket of his pants and handed it to me. He owed me a Lil Wayne mix but said he hadn’t made it yet, so instead here’s a CD he found on the sidewalk! Score 1 for me.
I rediscovered this CD today and therefore so have you (for the first time)!
“Tina, Here are some songs that make me think of you. I enjoyed the smiles and laughs we shared. I’m glad we’re still friends. Glenn”
1. [Editor’s note: I don’t know what this song is and was completely unsuccessful googling the lyrics, so I’ve named it myself. I think it gives you a pretty good idea of what the song is all about] Guitarhotlixx - ????
2. Closer - NIN
3. I Just Wanna Love You - Jay-Z
4. Summer Love - Justin Timberlake
5. Lovestoned - Justin Timberlake
6. Yeah! - Usher feat. Lil’ Jon
7. The Look - Roxette
8. Fields of Gold - Sting
9. Where the Streets Have No Name - U2
Finding someone’s mixtape on the street is like walking past a well-lit living room at night. It’s too intimate for strangers but you left your ground floor drapes open and I can’t just *not* check out your wallpaper. I don’t know who you are but now, strangely, I know what you look like when you set the table in your slippers.
